Clinical trials are the basis of how companies evaluate the safety, efficacy, and therapeutic value of new medical interventions. In this workshop we learn the details of clinical trial planning from small Phase I safety and dosage assessments in humans to large-scale Phase III randomized comparative trials and post-approval Phase IV monitoring all while adhering to strict ethical protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and regulatory oversight. The presenter will be Avantika Barve, PhD, Global Head Clinical Representativeness, Novartis.
